This does not include the measurement of the wood frame that goes around it.
The frame is 3 1/4 inches from top to where it meets the picture. I don't have all of the frame photographed.
The picture is of what appears to be a nurse with a student nurse, both looking at a picture of Florence Nightingale carrying a lamp. On the back of the picture frame it has:

It has a gloss texture that is not the same as modern day gloss photos. I am trying to figure out a year. The photo itself does not lay completely flat as it appears it convexes out like older pictures do. If anyone has seen a picture like this or could even give me an approx. time era that would be great as I know absolutely nothing about the photo.
Your right on the Teaching RN and a Student looking at Florence Nightingale . The style of clothes suggests 1930-40's . Love it Mani RN :-)
