1930's Jaeger Car Clock
Back of case is marked:

Movement Pillar Plate Size: 56.03 mm (would this be a size 31 ?)
According to the National Watch & Clock Museum it dates this style to 1932 and said it could be seen in Cadillacs, Packards & Lincoln's in the 30's.
This clock style seen in the Packard Super 8.

    Walksoftly, the photos I have seen have about 1" of the winding stem showing below the dash.
