Another garage sale find. I believe these are rare...haven't been able to find anything on them online or anywhere. Can someone help?

They are small (shown in comparison with coin) and hand painted...I believe they are wood.

Complete set of 35, although George Washington has been broke off.
Ends with L.B. Johnson, and has 63 on back showing date. They must be worth something being that old and "presidential". I believe it to be a great garage sale find.

Anything you guys and gals could tell me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks you!

    Dave

They were to be collected and displayed on the steps.

Have you seen others like these? I guessed that they were to be collected... I was just wondering if they are rare because I haven't seen anything like them before and because of their age and quality.

Thinking. Looks like the ones I had in mind were made by Marx.

Yep, mine look newer and the display is styrofoam version of the capitol steps.

Yeah, I talked to a fellow collector about them and he mentioned ones that were made by Marx as well. I was suprised that they weren't made by the Marx company.

Hong Kong. I don't remember that president. Must have been after I left the States!
