I have inherited this watch from my Grandpa
It is a silver and gold stop watch
There are alot or engravings inside with dates and (I think are times)
It is in perfect working order
I would like to know what the 2 enamelled flags are on the back for
The left one has a crown and a 3 leaved clover
The right one has a crown and the red hand of Ulster
I would be grateful of any more information

The left flag is the young citizen volunteers the right one is the penanet for C company I will need to lookup my www1 books they were set up to try to stop the Irish home rule bill by any means possible even armed insurrection Queen Mary was a supporter of both the UVF and the YCV they later combined to form the 36th ulster division within the British Army in regiments like Royal Irish rifles /Fusiliers
Eniskillen fusiliers and over 500,000 were killed in the battle of the some and pashendale it is the 100th anevrsry at the end of this year if you take it to the imperial war museum the could tell you more
