Some are marked Nuline (Which was a name for Wheaton Glass). But obviously, they are all from the same manufacturer. These are amber glass, 2.5 inches across. They are CURVED outward, like they may have been applied to bottles? These don't have holes for hanging, like somone else's on here's suncatcher with Pisces on it. Any one know what they may have been used for? I have TWO of each!

Those would look really nice mounted as a bracelet.

Davy - great idea! What a great statement piece they would make as bracelets or even a fantastic pendant. Google them later, you will find them available!

These were actually glued on glasses...I recently was given a set of 6 with these glasses with the carved discs on the outside of the glass. I can't find the glasses anywhere online, but this is why they are curved :) I have the ship, rooster/weather vane, and the pisces on the glasses...hope this helps :)

I first saw them and thought "seals" reflective of those put on early bottles-- not to seal the contents, but to give information. Just a glob of glass with something stamped on. Perhaps they had that as the idea for wine bottles of their time.

How very interesting. I tend to lean in the direction of SpiritBear's idea.

I think Elizablue is correct - but I think her glasses were made from bottles that were cut down. I still have these - but I have no idea where they are!

They're decorative, something cute and fun. :)
