I thought this set of salt & pepper shakers were Jiggs & Maggie from a 1930's cartoon but was told their not. I love the expressions on their faces. I got these in 1960 from a friend in California. Both she & her husband died the following year & I think of them almost everyday because I keep these on a shelf in my dining room.
There are no markings on them. I would love to find out if their Jiggs & Maggie & if anyone has ever seen a set like this one.

I'm new here, so am just seeing this post. This is not Jiggs and Maggie, just a set of turnabouts. There is a Jiggs and Maggie set out there though. They are pictured in the book 1003 Salt and Pepper Shakers by Larry Carey and Sylvia Thompkins on page 124. Pictured are several sets from Japan and Germany. The German sets are the nicest. You can also Google them. I tried it by using salt andpepper shakers jiggs and maggie and the pictures came up.
