Hi,this has a REUGE sticker on its base with another saying the name of the song the Swiss mech plays "i could have danced all night" Its a very heavy item, i think the top and base are either onyx or alabaster and the golden (probably electro plated brass) doors are all different cherubs or angels perhaps? The base also says "made in Italy" Really unusual item ,i was given it by someone who got it from a large amusement company family here in NE England UK who have Romany roots i am told. It plays and the doors slowly open for a few seconds then close.The lining is very plush red velvet . Anyone interested in this item and dating it please leave a commet.
