This is an image that I sold some time ago. It reminds me of the boy on the Cracker Jack box. Classic sailor suit late 19th century - cute boy. A clear image in excellent condition.

    Good question about the whip - I have pondered this myself.....the dog certainly does not look fearful....

    Nice boy photo, but the dog is not real, it is a prop and the whip goes thru the one ear !~
