I found very little about this rare book or its author then I tried looking up the illustrator instead. I believe this is the same Bob Montana that created the "Archie" comics, but I'll have to do more research. I see similarities in the illustrations as well. I bought it last week at a local yard sale. Any info would be great!

Strange not to be able to find it, nice book, would be nicer with its dust jacket.

I do see the publishers name and Robert Speller in the same line, on line, so it must be the same montana.

Thanks, Phil, but I don't know who Robert Speller is, I'll research more

It is hard to find, the only thing I seen is listings for Robert Speller & Sons, and that they were incorporated in 1930 in New York.

It's odd, I think. No copies on Amazon or Ebay or anywhere else for that matter as far as I can tell

Yes, Abebooks.com has nothing on this book also. Since they are the oldest online site for books, I find it strange also.

I appreciate all your help, it's very nice of you. I forgot to mention, I had checked Abe's as well & found nothing. I wonder if the publisher found it to be so awful that hardly any copies were made?
