    This is a neat picture I have had for many years....I forgot where I got it from. Maybe Texas or? I love the simplicity of the picture and its an original drawing. I am puzzled and if anyone can help me...:))) its 8 x 4 inches..thanks

      It's lovely Moonstonelover - it makes me want to walk on that path along the river! Mary could be anyone - this is not a very sophisticated watercolour and I may be wrong but I think it is probably just a really nice painting done by someone who liked to paint.

      Hi!
      It reminded me of the Chateau Chillon, on Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
      It might have been inspired by that, or a different building, not sure.
      My guess is that it was a different chateau, maybe painted from a photo of a European vista.
      Neat find!
