This was my late grandfathers watch ,he passed away on the 23/4/13 .He gave me this for my 30th birthday nearly 15 years ago. It is 18k 750 gold back and housing. I believe the band is not original,have a feeling the hands aren't original either. This is where I need someone's help in identifying this watches age !
It has a serial number or what maybe a serial number on the back plate.

Is the Vetta 17Rubis? I'm afraid I can't make out the details in the photos.
I think that the watch is from the 1960s but may be wrong on this. And yes the original hands were probably tapered on this ( like the hour marks for the odd numbers).
