This vase model B 820 is (what I can see) a design by Asta Stromberg and from late 1950s. I have seen the model in other sizes (100 and 210mm) and also with engraved skate dancer. The vase with engraved skate dancer was signed "Stromberg B820/C908 A. Stromberg/R. Strand/A.S."

It may seem confusing with this signing, but on reflection it is quite logical. The model is of Asta Stromberg and engraving C 908 is a collaboration between Asta Stromberg and Rune Strand. I know (according to my brother) that Rune Strand on some occasions redrewed the engraving Asta Stromberg came with, and that the engraving with the ice dancer probably is one of these. Therefore the special signing in that case. The signing of the vase also tells us that Asta Stromberg (and not Gunnar Nylund) is the designer behind the model B820.
