I can't get enough of the early Science Fiction series Flash Gordon from around 1936, what a time in my childhood memories! Thirteen episodes of pure magic!
I created this lamp from junk lamp parts and an artillery shell; painted it, added the speed rings and vintage Saturn shade. Looking at it has me zooming through outer space right with Flash and on course for the Planet Mongo.

I'm still looking for info on Flash Gordon series from back when my dad was a little boy appr. 70 yrs. ago. He would buy the small, thick, hard cover little book for 10cents he had around 100 not for sure. It was the entire series though. Just curious any info on those.
Still looking, hope you can help
There were small thick little books we called "Big little books". Is that what you mean?
I used to create lamps from original parts in the 80's and then watched as people seemed to fight to want to own it. A great way to make money and keep the fantasy machine in your mind going !~
