Your oil lamp is awesome!!!!!!!!
This lamp is what's called a "Marriage Lamp" or "Wedding Lamp". Based on the picture's resemblance to the picture on pg. 187 of Oil Lamps: The Kerosene Era in North America, I believe it to be made by Ripley. You should expect between $750 and $1250 at auction.
Thank you Janet for the information, that is great news. I will pass this lamp down to my children. Thanx
This is only the second one of these Marriage lamps I have seen. I passed up buying one years ago and have regretted it ever since. Lucky find!
