This is all he would let come out of the vault with, and out the door, but they are going back into his collection as soon as I get back to Houston. He has a flag that went to the moon, and back, docu. He has his PHD in Mechanical Engineering. He was a solid Rocket Booster spec. , and being an Engineer on most missions during that time the Director of NASA would give out medallions on every mission, with my Dads name, and signed by the Director, and dated. A Burned something, don`t know if I can say??? He retired from NASA, then he went to work for Boeing, or now MacDonald Douglas, HE was a big part at the start of NASA, when NASA stated out in a complex off hwy I-45 , then moved into building #1, anyway one of many story`s was when they wanted too out source the building of a Boso ? wood scale model of the Space Station, well he is a kid at heart, so he talked them into letting him build it, they loved the idea, the outsource was going to cost 5,000.00, anyway he had to find the astronaut first, so he would know what scale too use on the Space Station, they gave it to him, because he built it!!! To much to tell call me!!!

Love the show, did not even know what a picker was, but I have been doing it since 1981. I thought a picker was someone who played the guitar!! Hope you`all, do not mind my wife, and I coming up, for some pick`in, and hopefully some grin`in. Sincerely San Antonio,Texas
There are shows now called American Pickers and Canadian Pickers, shows that are largely so faked by the t.v. network they are a joke. A lot of the stuff is made up and I heard bad things about it from people who got approached by the network. Your NASA piece is very nice, I like a lot of it, but prefer the stuff made out of metal, and a lot of that is original or a one-of, and not often seen.
