Hello to Kevin & All,
I bought this yesterday after 2 years of admiring it.
Researching it I looked up ' Ridley Walker ' and couldn't find a thing, but when I typed in ' lino cut signed Ridley Walker ' I got it!
The full name of the artist, who is Australian, is Ursula Ridley Walker,( 1863~1968 ). I was thrilled to find some of her works in Australian museums.
I look forward to learning more about her and her beautiful work.
There wasn't a category that fit it very well,......Arts & Crafts era probably isn't too far off.

Nice one Tonino! A suphur crested cockatoo! They are mischievous! Some see them as pests. their call would wake the dead! They gnaw at anything ....... even a branch they might be sitting on. Cacatua galerita. That crest is the same colour as lemons.
Ridley Walker was a Tasmanian born in Hobart in 1883. It is a nice image.

Kevin, so nice to hear that the crest is naturally yellow, I thought it may have been discoloration. I love a mischievous bird,( any bird, really:), but a little menace is wonderful too!
