Just got this lovely WMF Biscuit Barrel (it also be used as a vase.) and given it a good polish, probably the first in its 100 or so years of existance.
. WMF did not acredit their designers but the syle of this reminder me of those by Freidrich Alder or Albin Muller. The glass liner has deeply cut and etched design.

Hi I just listed this on eBay as much as I love it I do collect Bohemian glass .........so this has to go so I can buy some more glass!
Hi Did you manage to sell your biscuit barrel?
Hi Rosie, yes it went to a very nice collector of Buiscuit Barrels so is in good hands .
The money I got for it has paid for 4 pieces of Bohemian glass for my collection and one referance book on WMF (that I have wanted for years !) so every one is happy!!
I did love the piece but have to keep priorities right . Also I have a " Playmoney " account from which I can purchase for my collection so have to top it up with sales of other things.
Exquisite!
It's a really cool item, so WMF. Too good to be used as a vase, nice its gone to a biscuit barrel collector.
