This is a beautiful antique French Limoges enamel pendant/brooch in a sterling and marcasite setting. This is the fourth Limoges Madonna jewel that I have managed to get. I find them so beautiful because of the vibrant and deep blue colored enamel. But together the make certainly a beautiful parure. The oval pendant is not the same style Madonna but I find this face so beautiful.
This last one depicts the profile of the Virgin Mary in vibrant enamel.
Done in rich shimmering gold,blue and soft peach tones with the enamel on copper technique that gives the piece a textured look.
This Limoges is set in a French sterling silver and marcasite setting.
French sterling hallmark on the bail.
Tehy are true rare collectors piece in excellent antique condition with only onew little chip on the tinest pendant.

Betty1978 yes you are right your brooch is also a enameled portret of St. Fabiola.
