Years ago my husband and I went digging though his great aunts house that had been abandoned for 20+ years. We pulled a few things out, this bottle, some milk glass, a dog statue and a few pictures. It was a total mess in there.... rats and bats had moved in years ago and the family had left it there to rot. There was lots of very nice furniture and some guns and such. We had planed on going back to salvage what we could, but without us knowing, my father-in-law burned the house to the ground to keep from having to tear it down! UGH!!!!

Oh, I feel sick for you! I think I would have gone bananas on my father-in-law and risked my husband divorcing me. LOL!
LOL I was speechless! My mother-in-law was pretty mad too, so he was catching "you know what" from both of us. He said he found a gun barrel in the rubble, no telling how old the gun was. There were old books in there that were my husbands great-grandfathers, they had writing all in them.... of course they went up in flames with everything else. Some people!!
Seems as though this bottle was involved in a lawsuit....
