This pendant is about 2" wide and hangs on a cable chain with an interesting clasp. 950 silver is used in some European countries but I have not had a chance to research the critter-looking mark yet, so any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Davyd, can't tell you much, it looks a bit like modern Mexican jewellery to me, and I wonder if that could be Brazilian boulder opal? I believe it's found in a lighter coloured rock like this, but I'm only guessing.

Hi Kiwi paul is this a piece of Potch? (the stone that is ) looks Mexican to me as well but I think this is a studio piece.IMHO . Unusual high grade silver
