When doing research on this clock I found out that there are a number of variations on this clock, Lawson produced it in this style, bronze, a chrome one, a chrome and bronze one, a wooden one, and one on a desk tray, some have an escutcheon and some don't, some open from the back and some have to be opened from the bottom as this one does. Some have the Lawson label on the back, and some have it on the bottom as this one does.

This clock is 4" in depth, 8.25" wide, and 4.25 inches in height. The case is thick and heavy, the escutcheon is broken on the front of the clock and it has a prime wheel. The clock is quite, no growls or clicks, the movement is in perfect shape. The cord has been replaced. This is an early Lawson, I have never seen one on eBay, except this one. I will probably never get and escutcheon for it but I thought it was neat.

It is sitting on an end table in the living room running and keeping time.
