Hello, I have this wonderful vase that is 8 inches high. The carvings are over the whole thing. There are no marks on the bottom, The inside is glazed. The swirls are textured. I love this piece! Why someone would not sign it amazes me. Have anyone seen anything like this? Thanks. I rescued this from goodwill. I like it because its so interesting and it has a good feel to the touch, almost like stone. Thanks for any help.
Is it old?
I have had this for about 10 years. I honestly don't know the age. The bottom has signs of wear on it and it doesn't have that crisp sharp edge feel that is on new pottery. Not much information I know. Its not heavy, or clunky, like an amateurish work. the walls are wonderfully delicate. Thanks
