    Doulton plate from the early years. I f anyone could help me with an exact year I would appreciate it. Thanks

      This link might help. Also post a close up of the hand written marks and scan the back for any impressed marks. On the link, there are C, D and E numbers, so check was yours is on that hand written number.

      Rd No181,624 under England and in the upper left - 6893 and under that is14B2319 and under that is 0I see one indentionat slightly lower left of England. That is about all I can see. Thanks for the help. Do these Numbers and one indention tell you anything about the Year this was made ?

      Did you look at the link I posted? That mark was used until 1902. The impressed mark "1", may be for 1901. The 4 digit number don't match anything in the guide. I think it is HB 2319, so could possibly have been done by Hannah Barlow, one of Doulton's more famous floral artists.

      PS The registration numbers can also be traced, but I've never done that before, but I'm guessing that would just tell you when the pattern was first registered.
