Found her for 3 bucks -I do not know what type of doll this is , I thought maybe it was a smoking doll but not sure, if anyone knows please comment Thank you :)

Hi Song , she is a boudoir doll made to sit on a ladies bed . The smoking ones which are very desirable actually have a hole on side of mouth for the cigarette . These dolls came in varying quaility from hand painted silk faces to composition which did not hold up well at all and the light weight later ones like yours with molded high heel shoes . She is at the end of the boudoir doll era . Very pretty face ! The early ones had very very long legs and they had real leather high heel shoes you could take off or the leg made of cloth on the oldest ones also would make a foot when cutting out legs to make it look like a high heel shoe . These dolls were all made by several companies from USA , France, Italy ( Lenci did one also ) Yours is lovely and put her on the bed as they were never meant to be toys . She might inspire you to write a song like Roy Orbison " Pretty Woman " you have incredible talent so get writing :-))))))) Love her !
