I know these are old and called Samplers. I just thought they were awesome and had to have them. Is it some kind of needle point? In order they read Wisdom is Strength, The Old Arm Chair, Praise The Lord and Welcome.

Your wonderful samplers are done in cross stitch or petit point with thread,a very time consuming process and very different than needle point which is usually done in wool yarn.Very valuable especially with the awesome frames.
