Sugar casters are pieces of tableware which were used to separate large grains of sugar from powder sugar. I don't think anybody uses them anymore the way how they were intended, but if you remove top part you get nice tango vase :D I think most of them were converted that way. In daylight it looks almost lilac. It stands 20cm or 8in from bottom to top of the finial.
