This picture has always amused me. Can you imagine if people tried this today? The weight of one deer would cave in the entire hood on today's cars. They sure don't make em like they used to! From the license plate this is from 1956 or '58.

The car is a 1955 Ford Country Sedan 4 door station wagon. It appears to be a well used car.
So awesome to see the deer strapped to the hood, true rednck style, when my 14 year old son got his first deer this year, we strapped it to the hood of our '96 Ford Explorer, surprising it didn't hurt the hood, my son thought it was the coolest thing we ever did, thanks for sharing this old picture.
