Not sure what kind of metal this is. Does anyone know this mark RM in a shield with what looks like a stack of balls. Thanks for any help

It's probably pewter like my vase. Pewter is 85 to 99 percent tin with a bit of copper, antimony, bismuth and sometimes lead so a magnet does not stick. It could also be "pot metal" or "white metal" which is any mix of metal with a low melting point like copper, zinc, tin and lead. As far as the mark goes they're hard to find. The balls look like cannon balls, so it could be a metal foundry that did ammunition as well as decorative pieces. Could be a wall planter or like Phil says a holy water font. Nice piece.

Thanks Phil, I watch haunted collector a lot and wonder if someday I'll bring something home with spirit attached to it. May come in handy:)
