Can anyone identify this furniture? Is it hand carved? Buffet and server. Solid wood, no veneer. Purchased 35 years ago in Little Rock, Ark. and have been used daily since then.
Carved sea creatures on both pieces. The buffet with mirror is 6 feet wide. The smaller item is 3 feet 10 inches wide.

Very nice ! Looks like Tiger oak to me . They often used a veneer so is it solid wood . Welcome to CW and hopefully someone can ID time era for you . To me it appears to remind me of my grandmothers which was from 1920's . Yours has the Chinese or Japanese Fish on it very unique and I love it .
