Trying to find out what kind of doll this is. My mom is 88 and this is her doll when she was a child in Germany. Back of head says Made in Germany --then under that 132 then under that 40 or z0 ... can't tell. It is about 20 inches tall. My mom called it her shirley temple doll but not sure if that is really what it is. My mom has alzheimers now. I would love more information on this doll to have for history at the house

Here is a view of the back of the head ... head and body all made of the same material,

Is her body cloth ? under dress ? She has had work done on her , that is not original wig and she appears to have been repainted at some time . Can I see mark on back of neck also . She is a Character child not Shirley Temple But not a regular dolly face . She appears to be composition but as good as your photo is need to back of her neck to tell what she is made of I can tell more by raised marked . Very cute doll . Also besides germany there should be a symbol which could be hid under hair . Let me know ok

I needed to see back of her head mark. I think you might be mising a number . She is a Flirty eye Doll which means her eyes follow you they shift side to side , she is missing her eyelashes uppers which were real hair . She should be Bisque Head and composition body and I am going to say I believe her to be a -Heubach-Koppelsdorf doll. But I do need a photo of the markings

Her face paint has me confused it looks like it has be re painted which means it is composition head not bisque . Bisque is easy to determine for me but yours is not saying bisque but compo . I need you to check her head and body and tell me if they are made of same material and show me markings she could be another company also . She is called " a Flirty Eye Character toddler doll"

Her head must be made of biscaloid as it does not look like Bisque or regular composition .
Biscaloid - durable composition that imitates bisque
She is not a common mold number and a few companies used mold number 132 Hertal Schwab Co used it and did a character similar to your's different mold number and not flirty eyes . For now I can say " She is a Flirty Eye Character face Doll Made in Germany " with repainted lips and wig . Dates from around 1910-1920
      Very nice doll !
