Hi again,
I was wondering if a fellow bottle collector can help me on this one. I have a mason jar and it reads as follows.
On one side:
MASON'S PATENT NOV 30TH 1858
On the other:
HAHNE & CO NEWARK NJ (has a star in the middle)
It is aqua, has nice bubbles and I think it could be the original lid. I haven't cleaned it yet but when I do I will post it as well as others in my collection. The question I need help with is. Is this common or a rare mason jar? Any information is always greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
~jhnnybottles
