Pic #1 shows a Swiss Crocodile electric engine in "O" scale, "HO" scale and "Z" scale. "Z" scale being the smallest operating electric toy trains in the world. This "Z" scale engine is metal, it articulates and can take power from the pantographs just like the other two here. It also has headlights and a reversing mechanism.
Pic #2 shows the front of this crocodile. Different from the green Crocodile shown elsewhere in these pages. This one has a red light to show direction of travel.
Pic #3 is Marklin "O" scale. Dates back to 1936.
The wood is original hazelnut. This wood has been dried and then painted over with paint Schell. Therefore, it is very well preserved! This information was provided to me by Mr. Bauer of Germany, an expert in European collectibles.
Pic #4 is a Marklin "O" scale "sea food" wagon. Dates back to the 1930s.
