I have added this gorgeous Loetz Candia Silveriris to my small but growing Bohemian glass collection. I love the iridescence of this beautiful example of Loetz. It has the perfectly ground Pontil but no signature. The seller called this décor Papillon but having the help of CW along wth the purchase of a Papillon Rosewater Sprinkler in the beginning helped me to recognize this décor as the Candia. There is also the great wear on the bottom of the vase to further convince a person of the age of this great vase. The size of the vase is 6 3/4H x 4W at bottom x 3 3/4W at the rose bowl shaped rim. I could use a hand trying to find the correct name for the shape, so for now just calling it a vase. I know there is a more technical term for the shape but I lack the books that would hold that information. Any help with that part would be greatly appreciated.
