I picked this up this last spring at a garage sale on the last day of the sale which ran for 4 days! Could not believe it. I really had to dig deep for this piece, deep in my change purse. I paid .50 cents. Cant get much better then that even with the flea bite on his beak. Happy hunting!

I bout a victorian pressed glass mug for .50 cents, It had the two assasinated presidents on them, lincoln and garfeild. So it was at least pre-1903. Turns out it wasmade in 1883 to commerate the assasination of president garfield and worth 70-85 dollars! That was my garage sale score. Going to sell it soon though... I can post it if ya want to see it.
WOW! Lalique Crystal Chouette (Owl) paperweight. What about 325.00. What a find, Lucky you. Dave
I collect owls. My philosophy is, why collect salt and pepper sets when there are so many beautiful glass and porcelain owls?
One of these just sold on eBay for $204! Major score!

Thanks for link tikiray! I dont think mine would bring as much because of the flea bite on the beak but as one of my first pieces of Lalique it holds a special place in my heart and would never sell it.
