Do you walk the railroad track to find them? I have a buddy with an amazing collection who does that

Toolate2, thank you for the links! David, thanks! I never really considered myself a collector of anything until recently when I fell in love with insulators :) AmberRose, although I love railroad tracks, I haven't ever walked them to search for insulators. I know someone who does that, but I just haven't had a chance. The ones I have I found in junk shops/antique stores/goodwill etc. There is a stretch of highway about an hour from me where there is a track with telephone poles running along side it that still have all their insulators on them.. I have a fantasy of climbing the telephone poles to get them all! Ha
