    A 1939 dated Mk2 with the red/blue flash of the Royal artillery to the side & the Artillery badge to the front.
    The name CONNOLLY has been scratched onto the inside brim.

      Yep, pretty sure it is hand painted or might have been a transfer that had worn thin & was then over painted.
