So, there are several copies of the same design on certain ones, but they are always different. They will keep the design but change the color scheme, so one that I have I call "The Judge", there are four different renditions of the same image, but the curtains, clothes background, etc. is a different color. Like I have said the larger ones say, "Tong Tai, Fuh King Street, Fatshan, Canton China" and the only reference I found was in Wothpoint which said the date 1899 and that they were made for application by Monks in temples and altars. You have to have the hands of a brain surgeon to apply these without wrinkles or breakage!!! Thanks again, Michelle

I believe these are Foshan paper cuts. They are done on bronze and gold foil that is unigue to that region. If you look up Foshan Foil Cuts or Foshan paper cuts online you will find more info. They werr used to decorate everything from walls, toys, packaging (fireworks etc). This particular form or paper cutting (using foil, colors, etc) was specific to the region. I have no idea of age, turn of the century is probably close.
