Antique brass knuckles? It is brass but haves no markings. I don't know anything about them and if you know something about them then I would be very grateful if you tell me the information you know about them.

It's an easy search, for you. These have been made in this style for ages by everybody's uncle, cousin, aunt, mother-in law (after she met he son-in-law & later by the son-in-law). Since laws against them soon followed their conception, most are unmarked. The marked ones are usually military items from before being outlawed for war. (We can incinerate people with napalm, blow legs off with land mines etc. but don't hit the enemy with brass knuckles as it is uncivilized!)

HAF, I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't examples from ancient Greece.

Actually a 2 min search found that they were used in ancient Roman culture & were outlawed for boxing in 100 BC. Didn't bother to ck ancient Greece.

Thank you all for your information. These just had me puzzled because they where brass and most " brass" knuckles I see are cast iron or if they are brass they are new repops.

I've even seen them made of cast aluminium & real hard alloyed lead.
