These three ashtrays evoke the Golden Years of USA passenger railroad travel.

First is a Pennsylvania Railroad ashtray sporting its Keystone motif. The USA Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is dubbed "The Keystone State", hence the private railroad of the same name adopted the keystone as its symbol.

The next image is of a Turquoise Room ashtray. The Turquoise Room was an exclusive section of The Santa Fe Railway's premier train, The Super Chief, which ran to and from Chicago and Los Angeles.

The final image is of a "regular" Santa Fe ashtray. "Santa Fe" is etched into the glass, reflecting that railroad's dedication to class.

      That PRR one is awsome!!!!

Thank you, gargoyle collector. The actual color on the PRR lettering is more of a Tuscan Red than the darker color that appears on the image.

It is a nice item, and I obtained it from an EBAY auction a few years ago.

Thank you, Dave, they are 2 beauties! The PRR logo is a little different than pictured. It is more of a reddish color, which is actually called Tuscan Red.

And the Turquoise Room blue is also a little darker than pictured.

I am glad that you find these to be appealing! And, I'm glad to share them with you and the other CW members!

Thanks, musikchoo...I like the PRR one a lot, too. This is the only one of its type that I've seen, so maybe it's a rare one? I'll do some research, and will inform you of the results.
