    I'm not sure what the first one says, but the second one looks like it said 'Stop, Look & Listen'. They are wooden and were found like this at an old railway station - in the attic.

      First half should say "RAIL ROAD CROSSING"...looks like someone cut it in half. and second half should say "STOP LOOK AND LISTEN". They went together to form an "X" shape. Most likely from the 1920's-1930's.

      thanks joeikon. that's what i figured. these signs were found at the Claremont Railway Station in the attic of the Junction.
