Hi there. I received this rare dome top shaped chest from my mother. I do not know the history of it. It is in excellent condition for its age. When you open the top, it has a top compartment and two drawers beneath. Then there is a long drawer with 3 sections, and two large dresser type drawers beneath. This chest is on rollers and has a very unique design on the front of the drawers. I would love to know more about this chest of drawers as it is one of my favorite pieces of furniture and I have searched endlessly on the internet and have yet to find one like it. If you can give me any kind of information, I would truly appreciate it.

   My mom has one of these chests that she inherited from my grandmother. Hers appears to be made of mahogany and not as fancy on the front as yours. We have also tried to find out some history about it too. Looks like we both are baffled!
