this lantern is in the original box, looks like it was not used,dated 3-15-1944
it has a well for extra parts,a funnel,a mantle still in the envelope.
made by the Akron Lamp Co.
any help with with knowing if this gas lamp is a collectable would be appreciated

These are collectible, although not a big ticket item. A few years these were bringing 50, 60 bucks, not sure now. During the hayday of camp lantern collecting, all the high end stuff went to Japan.
To the right person they are collectable Sadly that one has a stress crack like so many Akron military lanterns.
