We live on the first homestead on Pine Bluff in Nine Mile Falls adjacent to Riverside State Park (above the Spokane river outside of Spokane, WA).

It is also the spot that the first settlers of Spokane would come to drop off their garbage.

We have found a lot of intact vintage bottles, so far the earliest dating back to 1929.

We found this one yesterday..It is round ..just over 6.5 inches tall. We cannot find one thing on the internet relating to it or the chemical company...M & H Chemical Co of San Leandro, CA

Hoping someone out there can tell us something about it.

    Thanks very much!!!

This was a fuel additive company out of California, as you stated. They sponsored some drag cars in the mid-1950s. They marketed heavily in the 1955 newspapers and sponsored the drag cars in 1956. After that I can't find anything else about them.
