Hello my friends. I hope your Summer is going well. If indeed it is Summer where you are at. By me Summer showed up right on time with hot and sticky weather. Which is all good. : )
Here is a recent unique find of mine that I thought I would share and it seems some of you may enjoy. A large wine bottle in the shape of a bamboo tree. Crazy! Imported by St. Julian Wine Company Detroit, Michigan. The item is 48 inches tall ( 4 feet ).
First off pouring from this bottle could get interesting. Even more so after having a couple glasses of wine. I am surprised it is still all in one piece. : ) Apparently someone enjoyed all the wine to the last drop! It is empty.

Awesome find my husband has one as well and his was a find in an old shed on property his sister purchased but his Grandpa ended up with it until he passed then he got it back. ours is full and he is wanting to taste the wine since it hasn't settled yet. I am surprised as many of these still exist because they are somewhat wobbly if there is nothing around them to stop their fall. But it is fairly thick green glass. How the heck did they get these from Italy to America in one piece without bubble wrap??? just kidding but I am still curious the story behind their being shipped here. Hell they had to be hand bottled they couldn't go onto an automated machine for it.
