Four carved and signed Chinese ivory snuff bottles with wood bases, the first a traditional bottle, meant to be carried, carving on the front, engraving on the back. The remaining three intended as stationary: a pair of cranes under a tree; a dragon and phoenix, ancient representation of male and female or Yin and Yang; an unusual carving of lotus blossoms, with the stopper on the side rather than on top. All about three inches tall.

    This is lovely Jim.
Would you mind, as you seem quite knowledgable about Asian things taking a quick peek at this, I've got no where with it in 20 odd years!!
