This Mickey Mouse pocket watch I have always thought was a unauthorized copy but I .do not really know It looks like any other mickey pocket watch of that year but the dial is marked MICKEY MOUSE INGERSOLL C 1935 WD PROD. On the movement is ENDURA Time Corp MADE IN GR BRITAIN. the back is smooth with nothing on it .I was understanding that WD PROD. marked started after 1937-8

I'm sorta up in the air about this piece. A friend has a wristwatch marked the same way, but it's got a proper "Ingersoll" movement. The NAWCC shows these movements as 1920-1940. Possible a "prototype" for Smith's export pieces. My biggest concern involving this would be :The dial marked "Made in USA" at the 6 with an English movement.
Anyway, shape or form, I would also own one if I found another, just because of the oddity. Also will add, with reserve, I believe they are a period correct 'Mickey" watch, possible prototype. The smooth back would also be correct if that is the senrieo, as the English made pieces were smooth backed.
WD Prod, was an original logo (1928), but was officially used after WD Ent and some other titles were merged in 1938. Either way, very interesting piece and would be very proud of it. When and If you deceide to part with it, let me know.

Found a diffinetive answer, this is a Al Horen design. Still a very collectable piece. Would date around the late 1960's.

I agree. Al Horen often use Endura movements for his 'creations'. This watch is probably much rarer than the standard 1930s versions.
