Nice find these blackamoor pieces are some items I never run across on any of my hunts. Thanks for giving me hope that maybe I will find one this year. Happy hunting!
8ft 2inches! not including the turban, just kidding, 3" x 1 3/4" I sold her a couple of weeks ago, she is currently residing in San Francisco. :-)
I found a blackamoor piece several months ago. Have not been able to determine the range in value. Mine is about 1 1/2 ". Has several bands around her neck. Reminds me of a Nubian princess. Can you tell me where to look to get approximate values?
Hi Lucy, Do you know who made her? Are there any kind of marks? A lot of them are unmarked so its ok if it isn't. Can you put her on Show & Tell? If you can figure these things out you can get an idea of value. Prices usually have a lot to do with condition. I would love to see her, and I am sure many others on collectors weekly would too!
