Since it is the 4th of July I guess we can open the doors early today...
Here are some photos of my latest acquisition. I don't have it in my hands yet, so I will have to imagine along with all of you just how amazing this one is. From 1900 or 1901, this PG 1/475 is related to PG 2/284 "Medici", but it takes the decor to a new level. The tones of chestnut and gold in the background are very similar, but the twists of oil-spotted plumes are what set 1/475 apart. This one has real fireworks going, so it is my contribution to our 4th of July celebration.
