In the pictures I show two models of Junghans clocks, a famous clock-maker that in 1903 was the largest one in the world. The one from the left, have a wooden case with golden numerals and hands, in a beautiful Art Deco style. It runs with a chiming pendulum mechanism. The other one has a beautiful classic round face. The base, frame, numeral and hands are made of golden brass. I put it close to a cast-iron Art Deco timer to show a contrast in materials, styles, design and utility. The owl is just supervising the scene.
