I know that these are still being made. I have a mack truck one for instance that came with the retailers box like yours and the receipt said 1980. The wiring looks a lot newer than 1950's.

And along came Phil. You might be right about the wire but maybe not.

Hey blunderbuss I am no expert, how is your hot-wiring coming along??
  5. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 1 year ago
Shame on you Phil for suggesting that I hot-wire. I know how to pick locks.

Very cool gargoyle ! Whatever year it was done it is a nice piece and I would use it as a night light :-))) Of coarse with a mansion and all it might look out of place <wink> I know it is one by your fish window latches and huge turret :-)

You could be about right phil,my grandpa bought this in the late 70's early 80's ,so maybe it was new then, you would know more than I.
Blunderbuss what are you trying to heist?

Pilots are always locking planes with the parking brakes on when they know it has to be moved. In aviation school, a neighbour locksmith taught me how & I have picked up quite a few $'s over the yrs opening cabin doors. Gotten so good that I can open one faster than a pilot can get the key out of his pocket & do it. I do get raised eye-brows.

I used to unlock cars for people who locked their keys in them,I surprise some factory big-shots one day, I got a brand new Pontiac unlocked in about 30 seconds.Cost them $30 and it was Too easy!

Isn't it fun gargoyle, when somebody is looking for their keys & when they turn around the door, etc. is open!
